In this piece the student’s vision takes center stage. This 20 × 8 ft painted and mosaic façade, created in Albuquerque, was designed by middle schoolers from South Valley Academy and brought to life with the help of students, families, and muralist Joe Stephenson. The result is a bold, collaborative work that celebrates youth perspective, community connection, and the power of creating something meaningful together.
