Four five year old students rolled and textured clay that then glazed and set into the sunflower that greets all children, parents and staff at La Puerta de Los Ninos Day Care. The joyful sunflower is part of the schools logo and live sunflowers surround the spacious campus. This piece was created as a joyful introduction to a place where care is fostered and curiosity is encouraged.
